Writings and musings on the eccentric beauty of sacrifice. Come journey and write with us. We are resolved to capture something positive in a troubled world and laugh when we can along the way. This, then, is dedicated in Loving Memory to LCpl. Aaron C. Austin, USMC KIA Fallujah, Iraq on April 26, 2004. Rock On...

This is appropriate coming to me from Dumas today. The 26th of Dec. is when he'd leave Lovington to go to his Dad's in Sunray for Christmas.
I do wish the right blanket I'd ordered was put down, but it's still nice.
Thanks, Steve, for getting this photo for me.
Are you coming today or tomorrow?
Your welcome.
For those who don't know, Sunray is a few miles from Dumas in the same county. Aaron's dad, Doug, owns a business there. I grew up in Dumas, and I'm here now for a short time. A VERY short time!! Whew!
