Help Iraqi Families

US Army Captain William Perrich, a civilian called back to active duty, and soldiers of the 413th Civil Affairs Battalion, are making a difference in Southern Baghdad.

Here is an uncomplicated way to help, and now that Christmas has passed, I'm sure there are many toys or clothes you may need out of your way for the "new." Please consider this project. It's always good to see this kind of thing.

Their call to aid is copied below. They are the 413th Civil Affairs Battalion, US Army, from Dayton, Ohio, and are currently in Iraq.

"Iraqi families are very grateful to receive help from American citizens. It shows we care. The goodwill this creates is priceless."

We are soldiers of the 413th Civil Affairs Battalion, US Army, stationed in southern Baghdad. Our mission is to rebuild the Iraqi infrastructure - hospitals, clinics, schools, water treatment plants and much more. The people here are friendly and appreciate our help in many ways. They live in total poverty, and our hearts go out to them, especially the children.

We are collecting donations to do what we can to make their lives better. The smiles of gratitude make it all worthwhile.Would you help us? Everything you donate will be put to good use - such as clothing, shoes, medical supplies, toys, and much more.
