The Fallen of December 2006

Gunz Up honors those who've given their lives in
December 2006
for us ,
for each other.

This photo was taken of Sgt. "Rett" and "Doc" Duty at my son's grave shortly after the Silver Star Medal was posthumously awarded to Aaron in July 2005.

Both heroes as well as Aaron's First Sergeant, now Sergeant Major Skiles (behind the other two), were with Aaron in Fallujah when he was KIA.

A special tribute today for Hospitalman Kyle A. Nolen from Ennis, TX and the three Marines whose lives we can be certain the Corpsman fought with everything in him to save on December 21, 2006 in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
