After conducting the on-site-survey, the NMCB team prefabricated the decking as shown here, also the railing and part of the steel beam framing. The Navy Newstand reported that after id-ing problems and solutions, the practice runs paid off. On the final day, the bridge was repaired in four hours. Wish we had a crew like that in Lovington!
