Writings and musings on the eccentric beauty of sacrifice. Come journey and write with us. We are resolved to capture something positive in a troubled world and laugh when we can along the way. Pretty nice. I once was stationed on Guam and used to do what is refered to as a "boonie stomp". That's where you might organize a group of folks and go walking in the footsteps of the guys that fought there, and if you were lucky you might find a few souveniers like shell casings or something. It's quite possible I walked in the exact same spot 2nd Lt. Curry once did...
McCurry... have I mentioned I hate the key board that goes with this blasted old computer Ebyjo left me with...
And to me, he's Uncle Lonnie...retired Lt. Col, USMC. I have a picture of him, Aaron and Uncle Bennie together when Aaron came home from OIF 1.
When will Ebyjo be back with your computer? Did she change it to blue?
That's interesting thinking about Guam that way. That's how I feel about the rubble and sand Steve brought me back from Fallujah. I wonder if "anything Aaron" is in that earth and stone.
Thanks, Gunz...
