Writings and musings on the eccentric beauty of sacrifice. Come journey and write with us. We are resolved to capture something positive in a troubled world and laugh when we can along the way. This, then, is dedicated in Loving Memory to LCpl. Aaron C. Austin, USMC KIA Fallujah, Iraq on April 26, 2004. Rock On...

I love black and white movies! I love the old shows, and the dancing, the singing...all of it. WWII era movies are very special to me.
Thanks for posting them.
Thanks, Ebyjo. I have a few more magazines so they will be included in the series with the WWII stuff.
Things were simple then. There will always be a beauty for me of this era and the fifties!
I second that. My favorite war movies are the very old black and white ones as opposed to what is out today. There was just a more geniune feeling about them that can't be replaced by technology...
I could comment on every single post that you have below this one but thought I'd just leave it here...
I went and scrolled down to every pic you have below this and kinda got lost with some memories of my grandfather and I remembering how he would share some memories with me from back in his day.
He was a WW2 vet.
I loved that man...
Semper Fi!
Oh, good...then I'll share as much as I possibly can. There are some in the archives too. I love this stuff!
Thanks for the encouragement, Gunz!
