Karen was busy in the kitchen for days! She really enjoys cooking and baking. She enjoys family and parties. She loves her babies, Bonray & Sadie (their dogs) and she loves my baby brother, Gary. They've been together since Karen was 18 or 19. I think Karen is about 9 years younger than me, and I'm nearly 52.
Gary and Karen gave me a place to live during the week my first year and a half at Tech. I started to Texas Tech in the fall of 2001. So, I was at school when the jets flew into the Twin Towers. Karen watched it here at her home.
A day we'll never forget, I hope.
