Writings and musings on the eccentric beauty of sacrifice. Come journey and write with us. We are resolved to capture something positive in a troubled world and laugh when we can along the way. This, then, is dedicated in Loving Memory to LCpl. Aaron C. Austin, USMC KIA Fallujah, Iraq on April 26, 2004. Rock On...

Dear Auntie,
Our Mom showed us the beautiful Christmas card you posted for us. We love you and miss the days that you were living with us. You always gave us the most and bestest treats. Even now that we have aged and are on stricter diets, we can always count on you to listen to our begging, look at our pleading faces and sneak us a treat.
We also wanted to thank you for babysitting us when Gary and Karen were gone to Midland. We couldn't have had better care from anyone else.(besides Grandpa or Aunt Lisa)
We love you always Auntie and we are so lucky to have you in our lives. Merry Christmas from us to you.
Babies, you know you love me best even though I never at all give you babies sneaks of real food! I'm surprised they don't hate me and bite me...
Look at my dogs! Why, they're much too tired to bite anyone.
