Election's Over. War Over too?

On November 7, 2006 I fully expected that the MSM would be saturated with election results. After all, most Americans take their voting very seriously. No problem. I’m savvy. This election was important.

Precedent to the elections: war coverage.

Enter November 8, 2006: war coverage has left the building.

I don’t know why I even want to see somebody in uniform. They repeat the same firefight I’ve seen over and over. The one Aaron was killed in. April 26,
2004.

You know that one where you see the tattoo of the Marine with his M-16 out the window. That was Aaron’s firefight. No, it wasn’t his tattoo. His tat was on the roof.

CNN knows all about him, though they profess “that no such video exists.”

However I now know that Britney Spears called it quits with her hubby by text messaging the father of her children.

Greta, you surely can do better than this.

Lt. Colonel North did speak about our military some with Hannity and then we shot on over to Tom Delay.

Down in that yellow print, you know the one which whizzes. Goes by at the speed of sound for those entering their early 50’s (okay…already there). Here’s the other news:

Britney, I wish you well, honey. Hold on to those kids.

Greg and I are going to figure out how to eat supper in front of the computer. I really can’t take it anymore.

She's OLD NEWS too: Taken from People Magazine December 27, 2004:

BITBIT & BRIT'S FIRST NIGHT OUT
Decked out in a Alireza lacy minidress, Britney Spears keeps a low profile with her equally dolled-up Chihhuahua Bitbit--the pup is wearing a $100,000 Lorraine Schwartz diamond cuff around its neck--on the red carpet. In her first public appearance since getting married in September, Spears presented the rapper of the year trophy to Kanye West.
