To Howell & All of Our Warriors

Aaron's back...about 2002 or 2003. Austin tat. Dogtags? No. A pose, I'd say. He really hated the camera, can't you tell?

Me and Abe. See how he's looking at me? This was taken in May 2006 while Greg and I were in D. C. for A Time of Remembrance for the families who has lost someone in Iraq or Afghanistan. Howell--I emailed everyone on my contact list. We are going to get a daily time of prayer established for all of you Warriors. It's in the works as I write this. Please know that prayers are going up for you and yours.

Semper Fi,
Mom De'on

P.S. Thank you for writing in. The armor is on. We'll all fight this battle together. You mean very much to me, to US!

Deon, Diana, Howell and all of our beloved Warriors,
"AGAIN I SAY TO YOU THAT IF TWO OF YOU AGREE ON EARTH CONCERNING ANYTHING THAT THEY ASK, IT WILL BE DONE FOR THEM BY MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.
FOR WHERE TWO OR THREE ARE GATHERED TOGETHER IN MY NAME, I AM THERE IN THE MIDST OF THEM.
MATTHEW 18:19,20

I will be on my knees praying with all of my heart at 11:09 my time today. I will be honored to join this prayer group. Warriors, keep your faith and keep your heads up. We are all here for you and I know that our Aaron is watching over you. God bless you, watch over you and send you his tender mercies.

I will let as many people as I know to pray. Yes I will be joining in with you all. The Holy Spirit will surely be there.

I have so many ideas just pouring through my head. I'm so encouraged by this. God shows us His plans, little by little. He wants us to do this!

I want all of you to write something that you want to share at anytime. Since I'm rebuilding this thing right now, I'll post my email and you can send it as an attachment to me. Diane, Karen, I know you have hero stories that would inspire us, give us something to think about or pray about. Concerns, too.

Lisa--oh, she's so inspiring. And Kayla and Mom write beautiful poetry.

When the troops have some time, maybe they will add to it. There's a lot of great literature out there written by former military...usually disguised as fiction, but their soul still comes through in every page. Tim O'Brien's "The Things They Carried" is one example. He nearly left the country, to avoid the draft during Vietnam, so that comes through, but he doesn't let that stop him from sharing the hearts of those who witness such tragedy...his platoon. In a way, it's a love story...

Maybe the mushrooms or others have lyrics or poetry, short stories...whatever. Where are my mushrooms?

For my end of the writing, I think the mix would be good for the blog.

I'll talk to Steve.(Hi, Steve!) But I have put some thought into this. I don't think I want to just "open it up" for anyone to say just anything they want. Although that's great other places; I want to take zero chances on our troops or their families being slandered in any way, shape or form.

Also, I have been hesitant to post my email, b/c of kooks, but you guys have all inspired me. So, I know you will inspire others.

And as you see, long comments are not only welcome, but encouraged.

Steve said the length of the post (not the comments) should be shorter, b/c of the blog system and the limited time the troops have to read. But he told me to put it in parts if it's lengthy.

So...I'll be back!
